Lake District: 7th - 10th August (Intermediate)

Join us on an unforgettable 3-day, 3-night adventure through the wild heart of the Lake District National Park , conquering some Wainwrights (Lake District Mountains), wild swimming and relaxing in a beautiful townhouse with a hot tub and incredible facilities.

Note: This trip is classified with an Intermediate rating, meaning you should be able to hike 15km-20km per day, with up to 1000m elevation gain and loss on consecutive days. As with all our trips, the hikes each day will be optional and there may be alternatives for shorter routes. Those attending an intermediate hiking trip should ensure they have a good base level of fitness and have experience hiking in more mountainous terrain.

Your ticket price includes the following:

– 3 Nights Shared accommodation (max 2 people per room) in a gorgeous lake district townhouse in Windermere, with access to a private hot tub, bbq and garden.

– Breakfast on each of the three mornings in the townhouse.

– Guided hiking and planned itinerary.

Please note: Train travel is not included. Return train tickets from London to the Lake District cost around £95 for an open return with a railcard.

General Itinerary:
Friday:
Arrival into Windermere, games night and dinner in the pub.

Saturday:
Hiking along the ridgeline of wainwrights which cross Helvellyn and numerous others, before dipping back down into Threlkeld, and catching the bus back to Windermere. BBQ for dinner, weather permitting, pub dinner if not.

Sunday:
Another day exploring the gorgeous lake district fells, heading more towards the langdale area with the potential to explore the mountains around Scafell Pike.
Sunday roast in a local pub.

Monday:
Flexible schedule due to packing up in the morning, but will attempt to get a morning hike in before heading back on the train in the afternoon.
