Join a small group of like-minded adventurers and experience the UK’s most breath-taking national parks — from the misty peaks of Snowdonia to the rolling ridges of the Lake District and the dramatic coasts of the Highlands.
Our group hiking trips are designed for small groups of 6-10 people, with varying levels of difficulty, to help you get out into the countryside and dive into the world of hiking.
Whether you’re travelling solo or with a few friends, our guided hikes make it easy to meet new people, explore safely, and discover hidden gems both on and off the trail.
Our group trips come with 3 difficult ratings:
Beginner: Open to all abilities and is great for those just starting out in the world of hiking. We’ll be hiking no more than 15km per day with less than 500m elevation gain. We’ll be walking at a leisurely pace and can adapt the programme to peoples needs, incorporating more breaks or a day to do alternate activities if desired.
Intermediate: Open to those who have done a bit of hiking and want to push themselves a bit more. We’ll be hiking between 15-25km per day, with up to 1000m elevation gain. If there’s lots of elevation gain that day the distances will be shorter and vice versa. A base level of fitness is required, but should be accessible for most of those who like a bit more of a challenge. We’ll be taking on some taller peaks and be out consecutive days.
Advanced: For keen hikers who want to get the most out of their time in the national parks and are up for a physical challenge. You should have no problems hiking over 20km per day with over 1000m of elevation gain. The pace is likely to be a bit quicker and we’ll be focussing on harder climbs. If you’ve done hiking trips before or have hiked over 1000m elevation gain and loss in a day and enjoyed it – this one is for you!
Accommodation varies between the trips and travel may or may not be included. Please take note of the description within each trip advertised.
